He recently obtained his Master’s degree at University of Lübeck/Max-Planck-Institute of Evolutionary Biology in Plön on the topic of “Fast Multiple Sequence Alignment” under the supervision of Prof. Bernhard Haubold. David will work on the DFG-funded STaR-AD project which aims to identify novel genetic variants underlying susceptibility for Alzheimer’s disease. For his PhD, he will be co-supervised by LIGA head Lars Bertram and MPI scientist Bernhard Haubold. Welcome aboard the LIGA ship!
