Research Group “ProtectMove” to receive funding by Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft

The German Research Foundation (Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft [DFG]) today announced their decision to fund the Lübeck / Kiel / Bolzano research group “ProtectMove”. The group investigates the nature and mechanisms of reduced penetrance in several movement disorders. The LIGA team will co-lead four out of the eleven ProtectMove research projects. The effort is coordinated from Lübeck by Profs. Christine Klein (Neurogenetics) and Frank Kaiser (Human Genetics) and will initially run for 3 years, starting on Dec 1, 2016.
